OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY AND PHYSICAL THERAPY

Occupational therapy (OT) and physical therapy (PT) services are provided to support students’ development in fine and gross motor skills, life skills, and sensory integration that directly impact their level of achievement in the school environment. Students may receive direct or consultative services that may address mobility issues, equipment use and special classroom accommodations. OT and PT services help students develop independence and a positive self-image to function effectively and collaboratively with others within the school.  Services are provided based on each student’s IFSP/IEP.
