LIBRARY

Library Catalog: KDES Library Catalog Online

Library Hours The Library’s hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding Tuesday – closed at 3 p.m.), on scheduled school days and during the summer months.

Children’s Library (Main Room)–This room contains picture books, fiction, folklore, nonfiction, easy-to-read books, biography, reference books, big books, and children’s magazines. The books for the Accelerated Reader (AR) and deaf-related books in children’s literature are also shelved. A TV with DVD and VHS players may be used for small group discussion.

ComputerLab/Materials Room–This room has six computers and a laser printer. It stores ample visual resources of videotapes, filmstrips, study prints, posters, and vertical files. Deaf-related professional books and special collections are on shelves.
